A Slough man of England jailed for 7 seven years.

A Slough man has been jailed for seven years following conviction for a spate of burglaries around Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. Ashley Atkinson, 35, of Tomlin Road, Slough, was sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court . He pleaded guilty to six dwelling burglary offences, two counts of fraud, one count of theft of a vehicle, and one count of taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent at the same court at an earlier hearing. Atkinson carried out the crimes between June 1 and 10 this year around Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. He stole items including an Audi RS4 car, which has since been recovered by the police, three handbags, cash, a purse and jewellery. He also used banks cards stolen fraudulently. Investigating officer PC Alex Trevivian, from High Wycombe Local CID, said: “At court Atkinson has been proven to be a prolific and repeat burglar causing disruption and upset to the victims’ lives. “The sentence of seven years imprisonment reflects a vast investigation into a number of offences affecting the community.”
